Very scarce first printing of this classic high fantasy novel in the Lord of the Rings series. Rubbing/scuffing to covers and wear around the edges. Corners bumped and creased and with chipping around the edges. Previous owner’s name written towards top edge of front cover. Binding glue is visible between covers and text block and reading creasing to spine, though binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Tanning pages that are otherwise unmarked.
