Vintage late 40's/early 50's beaded clutch by Walborg. These were hand beaded with glass beads in Belgium. Antwerp, Belgium has been know for their beads and beadwork since the 1500's! This is a gorgeous example of that work. Made by Walborg, a company that was know for their luxurious beaded bags from 1947-1971. I can date this particular bag to have been made sometime from 1947-1951 because in 1952 the company started producing whole their bags in Hong Kong instead of Belgium. Vintage late 40's/early 50's beaded clutch by Walborg. These were hand beaded with glass beads in Belgium. Antwerp, Belgium has been know for their beads and beadwork since the 1500's! This is a exquisite example of that work.

Made by Walborg, a company that was know for their luxurious beaded bags from 1947-1971. I can date this particular bag to have been made sometime from 1947-1951 because in 1952 the company started producing complete their bags in Hong Kong instead of Belgium.
