This is a high-quality, genuine silk (正絹) bolt of fabric featuring a beautiful wisteria purple rinzu (綸子) weave with a classical pattern of musical instruments.

Originally, it was a pre-sewn garment that has been unpicked and steamed (湯のし) to flatten it. It appears to be a high-quality kimono fabric. The pieces have been sewn together. While there are no noticeable stains or blemishes, it is a beautiful item, but there is one tiny spot stain. I have taken a picture of it. Overall, it is a very beautiful and high-quality material, so I think it can be used for remaking projects. With its lovely color and pattern, how about using it for remaking a kimono or a dress?
