Official Name: JACKET, FLEECE COLD WEATHER (GEN III)
This 3rd generation fleece jacket is a mid-layer made of Polartec. It's lighter and more compact than the previous ECWCS fleece jacket, and its longer pile provides superior warmth.
Polartec Power Dry Grid is used on both sides to improve elasticity and breathability.
The elbows, collar, and shoulders are reinforced with nylon, which also helps with layering by providing a smooth surface.
The chest features Velcro for attaching rank and name patches.
It can be worn on its own, or layered with a Level 6 hardshell to enhance waterproofness, making it suitable for various environments.
Outer Pockets: 1 each at the hem (left and right)
Inner Pockets: 1 each (left and right) made of mesh material
Cuffs: Tubular cuffs (with elastic sewn into the ends)
Inside Collar: Contract label
